Application Process Overview
Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, for enrollment in AP and Honor classes you will simply select the class as part of the scheduling process when counselors cover enrollment in your English class this spring. We recommend that you consult the course catalog regarding prerequisites, speak with your counselor or a teacher in the department of the course you are looking to enroll in to find out more.
When you are considering your Honors and AP selections, please remember that the UC System only accepts 8 semesters of weighted credits. In addition, please be mindful of other activities and commitments as Honors and AP courses will come with an increased time commitment.
