MakerSpace

The MakerSpace is a resource that allows students, staff, or community members to take an idea and turn it into something real. Creations can be for personal or professional use and can be anything from toys and decorations to utilities and tools.

Objects can be extremely complex (a clockwork car) or very simple (a sticker of your name). Design options are left up to the individual such as color, font style.

MakerSpace staff is on hand to assist with helping Makers to reach their goals. Design tools and cheap prototype materials are available to assist in the making process.

Samples of items created in the MakerSpace can include:

  • Decorations: vinyl stickers, plaques, signs, and decals.
  • Practical: club shirts, theme jewelry, information signs, awards.
  • Artistic: laser engravings, 3D printed sculptures, etchings.
  • Entertainment: toys, fidget devices, puzzles, games.
