About Me
I am from the Bay Area and am a Wilcox alumna (go Chargers!). I graduated from Stanford University with my M.A. in Education in 2011 and shortly thereafter, began teaching at Wilcox. Like many of you, I first started learning Spanish in school. I began in middle school and took it every year then on until I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from university. It was simply a subject that I loved. I wanted it in my life. It led me to many places including the wonderful year that I studied abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain.
I very much look forward to teaching you not only the Spanish language this year but also about the wonderful cultures in the Hispanic world. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, cooking and travelling the globe. One of the greatest things about knowing Spanish is being able to converse and learn from people in 20 Hispanic countries as well as with Spanish speakers here at home in the United States. I'll be sharing the experiences and knowledge I've gained to you in the classroom. It will be an excellent year together!
