ELAC Meeting 10/11/2017

 

Dear Parents / Guardians,

 

 You are invited to our first ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee) meeting of the year on October 11th, 2017 at 7pm in the Wilcox cafeteria. If your student is in the EL (English Learner) program because they are fortunate and lucky to have the gift of speaking or hearing a language, other than English at home, then come to our meeting!

 

ELAC is designed to inform, educate and empower you.  At the meeting, we will discuss:

  • Graduation Requirements

    • Grades

    • Classes

    • Transcript

  • Whom to call? - Important Contact Information

  • How to get involved? Parent and Student Support Resources

  • Meet other families who can help!!

 

Take part in your child’s education. Make sure not to miss this important, interesting meeting. Child care will be provided and interpreters will be available for some languages.
