NOTE: DUE TO LIMITED TESTING SPACE, ONLY CURRENT WILCOX HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO REGISTER FOR EXAMS.
This year the district received some additional funding to subsidize the costs of AP exams. For the first time ever, AP exams will be free to all Wilcox students taking a test (provided it is their first time taking that exam). Exam registration will still be done online via School Loop, but there will be no section to enter payment. Those who qualify for free lunch will still need to fill out the free and reduced lunch waiver to turn in to the counseling office since a portion of the cost of those exams will be paid for by the state.
The exam ordering site is open, and will close on
Monday, February 27.
No late exams will be ordered. More details on ordering can be found below.
While we are not sure how long the district will be able to provide exams free of charge in the future, we are thankful for the opportunity it will give Wilcox students taking the exams this year.

AP Students and Parents,
Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Adrian C Wilcox High School encourages all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition.
For the 2017 AP exams, students at Adrian C Wilcox High School will be registering online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with Internet access.
This year, for the first time ever, AP exam costs for Wilcox High School students will be paid for by Santa Clara Unified School District. Online Exam registration will begin on Monday, January 30th at 8 AM and end on Monday, February 27th at 11:59 PM. Students should click on the link provided on the school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/053276 to register .To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the PDF of the confirmation page that is provided at the end. We know that parents may desire to register their students for exams. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.
Below are some important dates for the registration process:
- Mon, January 30, 2017 at 8:00 AM - Registration Begins
- Mon, February 27, 2017 at 11:59 PM - Registration Ends
- Tuesday, February 28, 2017 - Free and Reduced lunch waivers must be turned into the counseling office or exams for those eligible students will not be ordered.

DO YOU YOU QUALIFY FOR FREE/REDUCED LUNCH?
Students applying for a low income/free and reduced lunch waiver need to submit the verification form to Ms. Pam in the counseling office before their payment/order will be approved. You can print a copy of that form HERE or can pick one up from Ms. Pam's desk in the counseling office. Forms need to be returned to Ms. Pam by February 28, 2017.
If you are a student taking an AP test with an IEP or 504 plan and wish to use your accommodations on the test please contact your case manager and/or your counselor to get the process started. Accommodations are not automatic. A formal request must be submitted to and approved by the College Board. This process typically takes a month or longer so do not delay if you hope to use accommodations for the tests this May.
