Welcome to Extreme PE

This text will be replaced

Each student taking PE is assigned a locker and a lock provided by the school district. The student is NOT allowed to remove the lock from the locker room. The student is also NOT allowed to bring their own lock from home unless they have spoken with a PE teacher. Should a student misplace or lose their lock they will be charged a $20 fine to replace the lock.

It is also the student's responsibility to place ALL their personal belongings inside their locker while they are in class. Should their items not fit inside of their locker they need to see a PE teacher so that they can make arrangements to lock them up during their PE period. Items that have been left out in the locker room have been taken and not always recovered. Before going out to their PE class each student needs to make sure their lock is SECURELY placed on their locker.

All girls must have the proper paperwork filled out completely with both parent/guardian signatures as well as a physicians and insurance information. Girls that attend who do not have the appropriate paperwork WILL NOT be able to try out. Please make sure to read through all the material as it provides important information for the athletic programs here at Wilcox High School. All mandatory forms can be found here:

Proper attire MUST be worn for the safety of our interested students; athletic clothing and shoes. Knee pads are not mandatory however can be helpful. We recommend that players do not purchase specific volleyball attire (ex: shoes, shorts, knee pads, etc) until they have made the program. Such items can be expensive and we would like to save costs as much as possible.

The volleyball tryout process is very vigorous and at times difficult for those who have not experienced high levels of play. The coaching staff HIGHLY recommends that the girls properly eat and hydrate themselves to prevent possible exhaustion and fatigue. Essential nutrition assists in the performance levels as well.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Coach Lujan for varsity and Coach Nuti for junior varsity:
