About
MBR (Monte Bello Ridge) Club is an organization of approximately 20 students that participates in outdoor activities, restoration, and ecological/environmental awareness projects. We have done hikes in the Peninsula Open Spaces, camping trips at Yosemite, and kayaking at Elkhorn Slough. MBR is involved with Ulistac natural area; members volunteer to plant trees and flowers, and take elementary school children on tours of the area. MBR members have sold CFL lightbulbs for more efficient energy use, and have put up exhibits at Solfest and at the Ulistac wildflower celebration.
