SAT School Day

Attention Junior Students and Parents-

SCUSD is now paying for the SAT for all junior students! More information to follow. Below are some of the available details-

Who: All Junior Students (an exam will be ordered for them, paid for by the district)

What: SAT Reasoning with Essay

When: During the school day on Wednesday, March 7th 2018 from approximately 7:30am – 1:30pm. Specific start and end times TBA. This will be a regular school day for all 9th, 10th and 11th grade students.

Where: Your home school

Why: Last year the Santa Clara School Board approved funding to provide College Board and ACT exams for first time test takers.

Wilcox data shows that the vast majority of sophomores have the desire to be 4 year college ready when they graduate. Offering the School Day SAT helps us ensure that we can provide this opportunity to all of our students. Wilcox has been paying for PSAT for 10th graders for the last 4 years. Offering the SAT exam to all juniors allows Wilcox to complete a major part of this 4 year college ready pathway.

If you have questions please contact your student’s counselor.

If you have already paid for the March administration of the SAT please contact Chandra Henry at chenry@scusd.net
